Hello

In August of 2015, I gave birth to my first child, Ellie.  Ellie suffered a birth injury and was diagnosed with HIE.  Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, just a long, confusing, way to say that she had a brain bleed due to lack of oxygen.  Around 1 year of age, Ellie had her first seizure.  The first of so many that I quickly lost count.  Though she has the occasional convulsive manifestations, her typical episode is focal.  Focal epilepsy that happens when she is asleep and has never stopped without emergency medication.  So, what happens if I am asleep.  How long could this possibly go on without my intervention.  I've watched them last well over an hour, with treatment at the ER.  For years I have watched her until I can no longer hold my eyes open.  I have purchased numerous devices in the hopes that one of them would allow me to rest peacefully without feeling like I am abandoning my child for the bliss of sleep.  A decade has passed, and I have finally came to the conclusion that if I want a monitoring system that is perfect for my daughter, then ill have to make it myself.  I have put my whole heart and soul into this project, for the safety of my loved one, and yours.  We all deserve restful sleep, and Ellow can be there when we cant.
